It's about time I updated my blog I think! Last semester at university was crazy busy, hence the reason I've been MIA for 3 months! Enjoyed spendin the first two weeks of the Christmas holidays with family & now I have two weeks left to catch up with the end of PL 2012, my December Daily (which I haven't started yet!) and several other projects. Wish me luck, I think I'll need it if I plan to complete them all!
So, what have I been up to in the past 3 months? Several uni projects, a design trip to the Netherlands, my Birthday & of course Christmas have all featured. I made an Advent calendar for my parents which they loved & enjoyed the clue hunt for their daily gifts in the run up to Christmas. I also made an Advent parcel for my Auntie who was fighting breast cancer again. Sadly she passed away on the 23rd December and it has been tough for all the family to deal with. It brings some comfort to know that she was truly touched by the Advent parcel I sent though & that it gave her something to look forward to each morning.
Each year I chose a word to focus on and this year my word is ACT. I selected it as I am a perfectionist and put things off for fear of not getting them exactly 'right' by my standards. This year I am going to try more often just to give things a go anyway as the smallest actions are better than good intentions.
