Ever since I have been born, my family has taken an annual Christmas shopping trip to Stirling. This year was no different. We didn't get a shout out on the radio like last year, however they did play the song we requested. That might have been on the planned playlist for the show anyway though, as it is hugely popular at the moment. Whilst out shopping we heard it no less than a further 6 times! Luckily it is my favourite, Candy by Robbie Williams, so I didn't mind at all.
We parked in our usual spot & walked into the city center. Something that was different this year though was the general atmosphere, there didn't seem to be much excitement in the air & the shops weren't even busy. That's something I've noticed everywhere we've been - Perth, Dundee, Edinburgh - I think a lot more people are resorting to the internet for their Christmas shopping now. This cool Nessy model in the sweet shop window put us in the fetive spirit though!
